Role and main tasks within the project:

Enel X will investigate and develop the parallelization of DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion modules for ultra-fast chargers, coupling several 25kW power converters and connecting them intelligently to a common DC bus. In addition, the connection of an energy storage system (ESS) directly to the DC bus will be evaluated. A stack of these power modules will be connected to the DC microgrid in Bari and validated with field trials.
Furthermore, Enel X will aid in operating the DC microgrid in Bari together with the rest of the Italian cluster.
